Is everything on X Football authentic?
Authenticity is the foundation of X Football. The platform exists specifically for genuine football items, we do not allow replicas, fakes, or unlicensed merchandise of any kind.
Seller review process
Every seller is manually reviewed and approved by the X Football team before they can go live. We assess identity, the items they plan to sell, and their knowledge of the product. Sellers who cannot demonstrate authenticity of their stock are not approved.
The Crest system
Our Crest rating reflects a seller's trust level and track record. Higher Crest levels (III and IV) represent sellers who have consistently delivered authentic items with strong buyer feedback over a sustained period. When buying higher-value items, looking at seller Crest level is a good indicator of reliability.
If you receive an inauthentic item
Contact us immediately via the Help Centre. Do not return the item until we have reviewed your case, we may need it as evidence. If the item is confirmed as inauthentic, you will receive a full refund. The seller's account will be suspended and, depending on severity, may be reported to relevant trading standards authorities.
Items we do not allow
Replica kits and boots (including "player version" replicas sold as authentic), unofficial merchandise, unlicensed prints, and any item falsely described as match-worn, player-issued, or signed when it is not.
If a listing price seems too good to be true for a rare or high-value item, look carefully at the seller's Crest level, their review history, and the detail of the photos before purchasing.
