What are the seller fees?
X Football uses a tiered Seller Fee model. Your Seller Fee rate depends on your subscription tier, not your Crest level. There are no listing fees on any tier.
Free tier, 0% Seller Fee
The Free tier has no subscription cost and no Seller Fee on sales. You pay only the 3% Stripe payment processing fee per transaction. Free tier sellers can list items and manage orders, but do not have access to Pro features such as Shopify syncing and detailed analytics.
Pro tier, 8% Seller Fee
Pro sellers pay 8% Seller Fee per completed sale, plus 3% Stripe fee. In return you get full access to all seller tools: branded storefront, analytics dashboard, Shopify integration, and priority support.
Elite tier, 7% Seller Fee
Elite is automatically applied when you consistently complete 10 or more sales per month. The Seller Fee drops to 7% (plus 3% Stripe). Elite status reflects your volume and rewards it with a slightly lower rate.
Your 30-day Pro trial
Every new seller receives a 30-day Pro trial at 0% Seller Fee. You get full Pro features without any Seller Fee charge during the trial period. After 30 days, you move to Pro (8%) unless you choose to downgrade to Free.
How your Seller Fee is calculated
Your Seller Fee and the 3% Stripe processing fee are both calculated on the item price plus shipping. For example, on a £100 item with £10 shipping on the Pro tier: 8% Seller Fee = £8.80 and 3% processing = £3.30 (both on the £110 total), so your payout is £97.90. Shipping is included so pricing stays fair across listings.
No listing fees
There are no charges for creating, editing, or removing listings. You only pay when a sale completes.
During your 30-day trial, experiment with pricing and build your review history. A strong start significantly improves your Crest progression.
